Discovering Inner Peace with Reflective Counselling

Reclaiming Your Voice and Your Life

When you have experienced domestic or narcissistic abuse, the world can feel like an uncertain, fragile place. Often, the loudest voice in your head isn't even your own—it’s the echoing criticism or control of someone else. If you feel silenced, exhausted, or like you’ve lost the "old you" to a cycle of confusion and anxiety, I want you to know: You are not alone, and it was not your fault.  I am a counsellor dedicated to helping women navigate the complex journey from survival to thrival. Whilst I work with a wide range of general mental health concerns—including anxiety and depression—my heart lies in supporting survivors of domestic and narcissistic abuse.

My Approach: The Power of Integrative Therapy

I work as an Integrative therapist, which means I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" model for healing. Human experiences, especially those involving trauma and abuse, are layered and complex. An integrative approach allows me to draw from different psychological theories and techniques to create a therapy plan that is uniquely tailored to you.

In our sessions, this might mean combining Person-Centred therapy to provide the empathy and validation you may have been denied for years, with Psychodynamic therapy to dig deep into the past.   By blending these tools, we address not just the symptoms,  but the root causes and the "trauma bonds" that keep you feeling stuck.

A Space for Narcissistic & Domestic Abuse

Recovering from a toxic relationship involves untangling gaslighting and rebuilding a shattered sense of self-worth. Because I work integratively, we can move at your pace—focusing on safety and stabilisation when things feel overwhelming, and moving toward deeper processing when you feel strong enough. Together, we work on:

  • Understanding the dynamics of power and control.
  • Identifying and breaking trauma bonds.
  • Setting firm, healthy boundaries for the future.
  • Silencing the inner critic born from emotional abuse.

Support for Anxiety, Depression, and Everyday Hurdles
Life often brings a heavy load that isn't tied to a specific person. I also work extensively with clients facing the weight of general anxiety and depression. Whether you are feeling stuck in a low mood, paralysed by "what ifs," or simply overwhelmed by the pressures of modern life, my approach remains collaborative and deeply empathetic.

Why work with me?

In our sessions, you aren't just a "client".  You are a person with a story that deserves to be heard. My goal is to provide a "soft landing"—a place where you can drop the mask of "being okay" and finally breathe.

We won’t just talk about the past; we will equip you with practical tools to manage your nervous system, quiet your anxiety, and rediscover your joy. Whether you are currently in a difficult situation, have recently left one, or are simply struggling with the shadows of anxiety, I am here to walk beside you.

Your Path to Healing Starts Here

Taking the first step toward counselling is often the hardest part. I invite you to reach out for an initial chat. Let’s explore how an integrative approach can help you feel safe, strong, and truly yourself again.
